Something Has Changed

There are times when you forget your worth. Either you have been spending time in the wrong company or you haven’t had a minute to look up from work… And then one day something will snap and nothing will be the same.

I’m not being cryptic at all - let me explain.

My family surprised me with a holiday last week over the Holi long weekend. It was a trip to Istanbul - my 100th time there and their first. I was excited but nothing could have prepared me for what the four days would actually be.

Epic is probably an understatement. There was a moment overlooking the Bosphorus when something in me snapped - sitting at Ortakoy, I realised that I won’t let anyone make me feel like I’m not absolutely brilliant.

Spending time with both my ex-colleagues and my family has made be realise how gangster I actually am.

Let’s just say I’m back in Delhi with a pep in my step and a renewed sense of purpose… and of course glad to be back to my loving husband and beautiful daughter!
